The New 2023 Ford Escape

The New 2023 Ford Escape

The Ford Escape gets a thorough refresh for the 2023 model year that gives it a more modern style, more tech, and a new sporty trim level.

A revised appearance

The 2023 Ford Escape received a substantial number of changes to its exterior design that makes it look more modern and more elegant than the previous model. Concentrated at the front, the changes bring a new grille, a new bumper, and new headlamps that make the Escape look more similar to the Ford Mustang Mach-E and the Ford Explorer. This allows the Escape to better stand out in its category and it provides a stronger visual link between all of the models in the brand’s lineup. Other details such as new wheel designs continue to lengthen the list of changes.

The ST-Line models

The 2023 Ford Escape is the first Escape to be offered with the ST-Line trim level that has been found in a number of other models in recent years. Unlike other models, the Escape ST-Line is available in three different models instead of just one. This makes it possible for buyers at every price point to afford a sporty version of the Escape. ST-Line models come standard with items such as black painted wheels, a different texture for the black grille, a spoiler and underbody protection plates. This highlights the impressive 250 horsepower output of the available 2,0L Turbocharged EcoBoost engine.

Some new pieces of technology

The refreshed 2023 Ford Escape brings more than a new style since it arrives with an available 13.2-inch infotainment display that features the Sync 4 operating system. This technology integrates wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, but also Alexa Built-in, which serves as a voice-controlled personal assistant. In addition, the new Escape adds to its already long list of driver assistance features with technologies such as Intersection Assist 2,0 which monitors oncoming traffic when turning left at a junction in order to help prevent accidents.
