Lower Prices and Faster Deliveries for the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E

Lower Prices and Faster Deliveries for the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E

Ford of Canada has announced lower prices for most trim levels of the Mustang Mach-E electric SUV in 2023, along with faster deliveries made possible by a more plentiful supply of batteries.

More models eligible for rebates

By lowering the price of every version except the entry-level Select, Ford has made two additional trim levels of the Mustang Mach-E eligible for federal and provincial rebates. This means that buyers of the Premium RWD and Premium AWD models will not only benefit from a reduction of $7,000 and $8,500 respectively, they will also qualify to receive up to $10,000 off from their purchase by both the federal and N.B. government ($5,000 each). This means that the effective price for the Mach-E Premium RWD could be as low as $54,995. The entry-level Select trim level keeps its same price tag, which means that it could cost as low as $46,995 once the rebates are factored in.

Greater availability

Those who have tried to purchase a new vehicle in the last two or three years know that supplies are short, particularly in the case of electric vehicles. There are good news on this subject, however since  Ford says its supply of batteries used in the Mustang Mach-E has improved sufficiently to allow a larger number of deliveries in 2023 as well as reduced waiting times between order and delivery. Along with the lower prices and extended government incentives, 2023 is shaping up to be a great year to buy a Ford Mustang Mach-E.

Still a very impressive EV

Things are moving fast in the automotive industry, with new electric models being added every few months, but despite having been launched for the 2021 model year, the 2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E is still one of the best vehicles in its class in terms of range, performance, practicality, and technology. Examples of this include the 505-kilometer range of the California Route 1 version, which is higher than most other EVs can manage, or the capabilities of the Ford Blue Cruise driver assistance system, which has recently been rated number one in the industry by Consumer Reports.
