Ford Unveils the All-New 2024 Mustang

Ford Unveils the All-New 2024 Mustang

It's been nearly 60 years since the debut of the original Ford Mustang, and the automaker has just unveiled an all-new version for the 2024 model year. The seventh generation of the legendary sports car is the most exciting and fun-to-drive yet, owing to a completely redesigned driving experience. From its fighter jet-inspired digital cockpit to new advanced turbocharged and naturally aspirated engines, the all-new Mustang has something for everyone. And with its edgier yet timeless exterior design, the Mustang is sure to turn heads on the road. Let's take a closer look at what's new for the 2024 Mustang.

Fighter Jet-Inspired Digital Cockpit

The first thing you'll notice when you get behind the wheel of the all-new Mustang is its immersive digital cockpit. Inspired by fighter jets, the cockpit features two large customizable digital displays that provide all the information you need while driving.

The car’s 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster can be customized to display different animated designs and new drive-mode dependent visuals, based on the Unreal Engine 3D creation tool used in modern video games. When choosing personalized drive mode settings, the car’s current setup is displayed on the centre stack as a real-time graphical rendering that can be adjusted by swiping to rotate the car virtually.

Advanced Turbocharged and Naturally Aspirated Engines

Under the hood, the all-new Mustang is powered by either a turbocharged or naturally aspirated engine. The Mustang GT is powered by an advanced, 5.0-litre Coyote V8 engine, which is set to deliver the most naturally aspirated horsepower of any Mustang GT thanks to an innovative dual air intake box and dual-throttle body design. The second engine is an all-new four-cylinder turbocharged 2.3-litre powertrain. This EcoBoost engine is ideal for customers who want the feeling of driving a Mustang while also benefitting from fuel efficiency.

Edgy Yet Timeless Exterior Design

One of the best parts about the 2024 Ford Mustang is that it takes its design cues from the original 1960s Mustang while still looking modern and sleek. The horizontal brow across the front emphasizes the car's overall width, and the upper grille design is inspired by the original Mustang. The Tri-Bar LED headlamps are a nod to the classic Mustang lighting signature. The roofline is optimized for driver entry and exit without removing their helmet on the track, and the extended rear deck houses a new crisp tri-bar lighting signature. The car's overall look is powerful and muscular, with a sleek silhouette sure to turn heads.

The all-new 2024 Ford Mustang goes on sale next summer and is assembled at the Flat Rock plant in Michigan. Whether you're a fan of the original Mustang or you're looking for a modern update on a classic design, the 2024 Mustang is sure to please.
