Ford Bronco Sport 2021: Much more than a little Bronco

Ford has unveiled what is perhaps the biggest news in the auto industry this year, the return of the 2021 Ford Bronco. Confirmed earlier this month, the news sent shockwaves through the industry. Not only will the Bronco return to the market this year, but it will be offered in several versions so that everyone can find what they are looking for. There is the Ford Bronco 2-door, 4-door, and also a smaller model called Ford Bronco Sport.

The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport is smaller than the traditional Bronco and targets the compact sport utility segment. As a result, it will be the only sport utility in its segment that can venture off-road with confidence. It will be offered with a host of technologies that will make your next adventure easier.

The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport is designed to go far off the beaten path

The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport offers a host of features exclusive to its segment. One thinks in particular of a rubber finish available for the passenger compartment to facilitate cleaning. The tailgate can be fitted with an LED lighting system that lights up 129 square feet around the Bronco Sport. There is also a worktable in the trunk, a 400 watt electrical system and MOLLE fasteners. It is possible to put two mountain bikes in the trunk and there are over 100 accessories available for the new Ford Bronco Sport.

It will also be equipped with the Ford Co-Pilot360 active safety technology package that includes automatic braking with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring and more.

Four versions will be available including the rugged Badlands model. All 2021 Ford Bronco Sports get all-wheel drive, but the Badlands model gets an automatic torque management system that makes it even more capable. The Badlands model is also available with optional 29-inch tires. Finally, the Terrain Management system offers several driving modes to facilitate traction in all conditions. Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery and Sand modes are offered on all 2021 Ford Bronco Sport while Badlands models get two more modes: Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl.

Two powerful EcoBoost engines under the hood of the 2021 Ford Bronco Sport

The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport will be powered by a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine that develops 181 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. This engine is shared with the new Ford Escape. However, the Badlands model gets a more powerful 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine that develops 245 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque.

The Ford Bronco Sport will be the toughest compact SUV by far. It will be offered starting at $ 32,199. Come learn more today!
