2020 Ford Explorer

The 2020 Ford Explorer hits the market with a completely redesigned exterior and interior, a lot more cargo space, plenty of new versions, and impressive performance that buyers expect from this segment. There are two new versions joining this generation of the Explorer including a new and powerful ST model as well as hybrid versions.

She also wants everything to be combined with a beautiful, sporty exterior. This new model exceeds expectations and makes each walk even more enjoyable."

The 2020 Ford Explorer comes standard with a 2.3-litre that delivers 300 horsepower and 310 pound-feet of torque, four-cylinder EcoBoost engine that is paired with a 10-speed automatic gearbox, an 8-inch centre touchscreen with SYNC and FordPass Connect that includes Wi-Fi access. An optional 3.0-litre EcoBoost V6 offers an impressive 365 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque while the Ford Explorer ST pushes the power output to 400 horsepower. The Explorer’s V6 towing capacity has increased by 12 percent to up to 2,540 kg. 

"We did everything we could to find out what customers wanted," said Bill Gubing, Chief Engineer of the Explorer. "We have formed focus groups, browsed online forums and analyzed social media posts to find out what customers think about the strengths and weaknesses of the current Explorer. We then found solutions to improve everything. Each modification of this new model has been inspired by our customers."

The Ford Explorer is more comfortable and refined as well. It also comes with improved technology to guarantee the best safety including Ford CoPilot360 active safety technologies. It has an automated parking feature as well to assist owners with parking in the city. An available 10.1-inch centre touchscreen is the largest in the segment and gives the interior a real “wow” factor.
